So I’m thinking about building a DIY standing desk that adjusts height automatically. I’ve been checking out different actuators and found some cool options on Progressive Automations. But I’m not sure which type would be best for smooth, quiet movement and enough power to lift a loaded desk. Has anyone tried their linear actuators for furniture projects like this?

It’s pretty cool how these actuators can turn simple mechanical motion into automated convenience. Whether it’s furniture, vehicles, or even hobby projects, they really add a whole new level of functionality without being too complicated to install or use.
